Ta for that email.Am I right in thinking those four divers were actually al aqsa brigade, opponents of Hamas and borderline proxies of Israel through Abbas and the PA?If it is the same incident I suspect they may have been sacraficed by Tel Aviv to try to distract from the flotilla hits and remind us of the ‘constant threat’.
That’s what I’ve read alright.
“al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, told Al Jazeera the men were members of the group and were only conducting “training exercises”.”

Although, I think it’s a bit of a stretch to call them even borderline Israeli proxies.
But the idea of a distraction probably isn’t too far from the truth, the attack suggests things are back to business as usual, a test of US relations perhaps. It certainly occurred to Hamas:
““The bloody escalation today is a desperate attempt by the occupation government to divert the world attention away from the massacre committed against the flotilla,” Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri told reporters in Gaza.”
